Instacart Replacements Not Matching Requests
I recently ordered groceries through Instacart because I didn’t have time to shop in person, but several replacement items were completely different from what I originally selected. Some substitutions didn’t even match the same category or quality level. I understand shoppers sometimes work with limited store availability, though better communication during replacements would help a lot. Grocery delivery should save time, not create extra frustration afterward. The convenience itself is useful, but inaccurate replacements reduce confidence in future orders. I expected closer matches based on the options provided. Has anyone else received strange substitutions through Instacart?

Grocery delivery apps can make life much easier for busy families or people who don’t have time to shop regularly, but the experience depends heavily on communication and item accuracy. Reading experiences on instacart reviews, I saw many users mentioning how substitutions, missing products, and delivery timing can completely change whether the service feels helpful or stressful during weekly shopping.
